| "Asian Dragons Rising" Series 4 Launch |
27 February 2009
Channel News Asia launched the fourth series of the TV series programme entitled "Asian Dragons Rising" on February 27, 2009. Asian Dragons Rising profiles up and coming companies with an enterprising edge and significant performance in the Asian Pacific region.

Produced in collaboration with Stratagem Consultants, the Asian Dragons Rising series will air over four weeks on Channel NewsAsia every Monday at 9:30pm, starting from March 2, 2009. The eight companies which are featured in this latest series are Taka Jewellery, Union Energy Corporation, Sineurope, Lorna Whiston Schools, SH Donut Empire, East Asia Institute of Management, AETOS Security Management and Suntec Singapore. These are companies with strong brands ranging from jewellery, energy, food, education to security specialists and convention venues. Each week, two companies will share their entrepreneurial success stories with the channel's regional audience in this TV series.

At the launch on Friday, organisational strategist Manoj Sharma, founder and CEO of international consultancy firm DifferWorld.com, shared his insights on branding in Asia and gave tips on organisational branding. He said that if a local organisation is placed anywhere in the world and yet its brand is still recognised to be on par with the rest of the world, then that organisation is considered to be of a world class standard. He added that when an organisation builds its brand and appeals to individuals, it becomes a world class brand.
