It was a roaring start for volunteerism in the new year!

The spirit of youth volunteerism was sparked alive at Atrium @ Orchard, Plaza Singapura on Saturday (6^th February) morning when 4 energetic students from the East Asia Institute of Management (EASB) hip-hoped to the funky beat of Pink Panther Before. Singapore's largest ever badge montage was unveiled by Guest of honour, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports.

The montage  is sponsored by AXA Life Insurance Singapore (AXA), EASB, F&N Magnolia and Canon. The montage raised $70 000 for the needy patients of Home Nursing Foundation (HNF).

Stratagem Consultants, which supported the event in terms of public relations services and goodie bag contribution, was also at hand to help with this unique event.

As part of the charity act, the four students from EASB - with their hair coloured purple - put on a hip hop dance item which fetched $15,000 for HNF.

These students aged between 18 and 23 years old, were from China, the Philippines and India.

On the event, Managing Director for Stratagem Consultants, Ms Tham Moon Yee commented, "We are delighted to play a part in this event to support HNF and its worthy causes. We believe in contributing to the community - especially towards helping the elderly - whose numbers are increasing due to the rapidly aging population in Singapore."

The 32 square-metre display is a result of corporate sponsorships and public donations. The event raised a total of $70 000 for HNF.
